The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
